Pride Canterbury is a spectacular celebration of identity for the whole family, led by the LGBT+ community, set in the heart of Canterbury. Featuring a parade through Canterbury High Street, followed by live entertainment with food and drink in the Dane John Gardens.

    The Marlowe Theatre Forecourt

    Join us outside The Marlowe theatre for the hustle and bustle of the parade getting ready to depart.

    The Parade

    Canterbury High Street

    Line the high street and cheer on the Pride Parade, featuring live samba music, flag waving and a carnival atmosphere. The procession will feature many local organisations and groups, and some extra special characters to keep an eye out for!

    Pride Canterbury - Live

    The Dane John Gardens

    This year we are joined by RuPaul’s Drag Race favourites Courtney Act and Willam, some of the UK’s favourite tribute acts and Kent’s best talent for an afternoon of music, DJs and fun. Watch out for surprise guests and the programme on the day for details of who is performing when.

    Enjoy the day with a selection of food and drink stalls, entertainment for all ages including various inflatables, and a Pride marketplace. Come and celebrate, kick back and relax – bring a blanket and have a picnic in the park!

    Glitterbomb Official Afterparty

    The Venue - UKC Students Union

    (18+ Only) The Pride celebrations continue at the official after party with Courtney Act, Willam and other surprise guests at Glitterbomb, Kent’s most popular LGBT+ club night. Expect the finest resident drag queens, the Glitterbombshell dancers and non stop pop until 3am. Pay on the door or grab advance tickets from

The main Pride event takes place in the beautiful Kent gardens of Dane John, Canterbury.

This year includes the Iconic Stage (Main Stage) and the Unite Community Stage where local artists from Canterbury and the surrounding area will perform.
